The X-COM Windows compatible graphical control and network management system allows virtually any PC to serve as a powerful system control device. Devices connected to an X-COM NTDS Matrix Switch can be described in any manner desired. Equipment is linked together using the PC’s mouse to “drag and drop” devices in any combination. New network configurations can be entered without changing existing interconnections or operation. After a new switch configuration has been entered, the NTDS Matrix Switch can be re-configured in seconds. Multiple switch configurations can be stored to facilitate re-establishing commonly used networks easily.
