DX-10G™
Rugged/Miniaturized Digital RF Exciter
The DX-10G is a
rugged, digital
wideband arbitrary
waveform generator
(AWG) capable of
creating high-resolution
advanced waveforms
for radar, satellite
and RF agile communication
systems. Operating
at 10 GS/s with 10-bit
(no marker output)
or 8-bit (two digital
markers) resolution,
the DX-10G simultaneously
provides 3 GHz modulated
bandwidth and wide
dynamic range.
The
DX-10G is a COTS
drop-in replacement
for most radar
exciters or an instant
technology
infusion into legacy
radar systems.
The rugged
signal
generator is available
in either a stand-alone
enclosure or a
2-slot VME card.
The programmable
interface can
be updated on-the-fly
to transition
radar
systems to operate
multi-mission
functions at various
frequencies
and time intervals.
The system can
be set to use random
or set patterns
to
simulate frequency
hops, multiple
contacts, incoming
threats,
or custom scenarios.
Up to 32 waveforms
can be simultaneously
programmed into
memory to implement
mission-specific
waveform sequencing.
Features:
- Unit offers clock speeds of up to
10 GS/s and user selectable 10-bit or 8-bit DAC resolution
